Baths! Who has the free time to take ’em? Not me, that’s for sure. I feel like it’s been months since I’ve had the free time to wallow in the tub for a good hour or so. Now though, what with the super cold winter weather finally making its presence known in Sydney, it’s a little easier to justify running a bath to de-icicle myself.
Lush Green Bubbleroon Bubble Bar was my bath ingredient of choice the other day, primarily chosen because like all Bubbleroons, it’s not hugely bubbly. Which, I know, sounds antithetical to the whole bubble bath process, but hear me out here. Regular Lush bubble bars are really bubbly. Like, mega bubbly. Bubbles two feet and climbing above the rim of the tub, bubbly. I want to sit in my bath and read a book (aka balance my iPad on the edge and refresh Tumblr) without being drowned in foam, and Bubbleroons merely give a gentle whisper of bubbles. Much more manageable.

Green smells of… well, not much. In the bag it has a touch of orange blossom and lime, but when crumbled into my bath it turned into a very mild vague soft scent that was slightly sweet without being sugary. I’m more inclined to the mild end of Lush scented products to begin with, but if you’re in the mood for a powerfully strong scented bath then you’d be better off with something like Amandopondo.
