Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette
Happy Festivus eve!
Just a quick swatch post today. I’m terribly behind the ball when it comes to this limited edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette. It’s been out for a month and is probably getting close to being totally sold out at Mecca in Australia and Sephora in the US, but I’ve only recently unboxed it and taken it for a spin.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette
Luminous Flush: a soft rosy glow. It has a little touch of coral that keeps it from looking too dolly pink on my cheeks, but it still requires a light touch to keep it looking sheer and natural.
Incandescent Electra: this palette exclusive peach blush is almost a highlighter shade for me, creating a gorgeous lit from within lustrous glow. It works beautifully with a matte blush to create a dimensional lift to the apples of my cheeks, all without being shiny or sparkly. This pale peach is perfect on my fair cool-toned skin, but darker complexions may find this a little ashy.
Mood Exposure: this plummy buff blush was the surprising highlight of the palette for me. I normally avoid this kind of shade as this particular spectrum of nude-ish plum-ish nothing-ish blush is typically not the most flattering cheek colour for my ghostly complexion, but I adored the way this blush gave me a soft sculptural cheek without looking too ‘done’.

You can get most of though! I believe Mood Exposure and Luminous Flush are permanent colours, and Hourglass do palette sets on a fairly regular basis.
