Now this is my kind of Spring manicure colour! Color Club Silver Lake is an icy cool pale grey creme that has possibly the nicest formula I’ve ever tried – no chalkiness, no gloopiness, just a smooth flowing polish that was completely flawless in two thin coats.

I feel like I’ve been commenting a lot lately how X or Y nail polish has some of the best formulas/pigments/application/etc I’ve tried. Maybe it’s just the luck of the draw with the lacquers I’ve been swatching over the past year or so and I’ve only picked up the creme de la creme, but I suspect that it’s just that nail polishes have gotten really, really good lately. It feels like years since I’ve wrestled with a finicky streaky pastel polish or struggled to get a royal blue or rich red nail polish to pop opaque, or even just had issues with bubbling or bald spots. Have you noticed this improvement as well?
