Is this the perfect coral nail polish? Yes. Yes! Color Club East Austin nail polish is the coral lacquer I’ve been searching for for years: not too orange, not too pink, not too neon, not too pastel. It’s a coral in perfect balance, with enough of a colourful kick to pop against my skin.
The formula of East Austin was reasonably good for a pastel, with just two coats needed for full coverage. I topped this with a coat of INM Out The Door to crank up the shine, although it would look darling with a matte or satin top coat to give it a soft, candy-like sheen.
This is the first Color Club nail polish I’ve tried and I’m hooked, although there’s one small problem: Color Club has barely any stockists in Australia. I purchased a couple of bottles at the last Sydney International Spa Beauty Expo, a beauty industry show, and some quick googling tells me that the only Australian stockist is Pro Nail Essentials. Hmm. Time to stock up heavily at the next Spa Expo, I think!
