Pretty Serious Cosmetics VT100 nail polish is a rich yellow-based green with golden microglitter. VT100 has fantastic opacity and I could’ve easily just used one coat for most of my nails, but I found the polish itself to be very thick and goopy. It pulled a little bit on some nails and left a couple of streaky bald spots, so I needed two coats to get the best finish. Next time I wear it I’m going to add some lacquer thinner and see if I can make it a little more workable and smooth.
Goopiness aside, this is a really stunning green lacquer. It’s peppier than a hunter green, brighter than British racing green, but not as bright as an apple green. The microglitter gives the lacquer a rich complexity without being spangly or OTT. It’s also fine enough that the polish is easy to remove, thank god! There’s nothing worse than having to soak off glitter polishes, right?
If you’re in the market for an interesting green lacquer, you can’t go past VT100 nail polish. Nice!
