Monkey see, monkey do. Or in my case: monkey see nail polish on other beauty blogs, monkey spends an entire lunch break traipsing around various Priceline stores looking for Face of Australia pastel nail polishes. I saw these nail polishes pop up on blogs a month or so back, but couldn’t find them in stores and gave up looking. The collection popped up on Ponikuta last week and I immediately went out lacquer hunting! The shelves at Priceline were picked clean and looking beyond bare by the time I got there, but I snagged the last two polishes to try out.

Face of Australia Pastel nail polish in Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy is a cool lemon yellow pastel cream. I used three thin coats to get a full colour finish; the first two coats were a little streaky, but three was a charm. At first I thought it was going to be identical to China Glaze’s Lemon Fizz, but Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy is much cooler and lighter compared to Lemon Fizz’s egg yolk yellow.

Face of Australia Pastel nail polish in Boys 'N' Berries

. Face of Australia Pastel nail polish in Boys ‘N’ Berries

Boys ‘N’ Berries is a cool lavender pastel cream. Normally I struggle a little with pale purple polishes due to having such a pink complexion – if I’m not careful I get alien hands! – but this polish was a dream to wear. No alien hands and no ruddiness. I used two thin coats for a full finish.

  1. I love this combo! I have the purple one but overlooked the yellow. They look great together though!
