Hmm. Should I struggle with buying a new dress in the retail hell that is being a size AU14/16 (US10/12) in fatty-unfriendly Australia, or should I find an accessory to perk up an old faithful classic midline 50s black dress? I took the sanity friendly option and picked up this ribbon and brass necklace fromĀ Frou Frou Designs in Pyrmont. Sorted!
Except I forgot to buy a clutch. F!

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who struggles to ever find nice fitting clothes in Size 14/16. I have developed an absolute hate for shopping these days and only do it when I’m practically naked and am forced to for fear of being a hermit with nothing to wear outside my house!

It really does drive me crazy. Thankfully Cue cut stylish clothes up to. 14 and I see Witchery is going up to a 16 in their standard range. I just wish there was more street fashion in bigger sizes; so many great small labels only go up to a medium :(
