Essie Sand Tropez nail polish is a sandy greige without any shimmer or sparkle. I’ve chosen this nail polish to kick off a week of nude and natural nail polishes and cosmetics because, to me, greige lacquers (aka grey-beige) are still an edgier choice for a nude nail than a traditional cream or sand colour. Sand Tropez is a perfect example of a griege that straddles the line between being a work appropriate neutral while still being fashion forward and chic. Beige ain’t always boring, you dig?

Application was surprisingly easy for a light coloured cream, with only two thin coats needed to get full coverage. I had no issues with streaking or bald spots.
