MBFW SS 12/13 – Napoleon Perdis, KMS California and Nail Rock for Ellery

Ellery – S/S 12/13

Super chic ruled the school at Ellery – street style hair, luminous yet minimalist make-up, and mannequin nails pulling together to evoke a pared back yet sophisticated cool.

Key makeup design notes: All items by Napoleon Perdis. Skin was prepped and painted with sheer foundation (Sheer Genius, AU$69) and set with a light dusting of powder (Camera Finish, AU$64). High shine was buffed into the cheekbones (Loose Eye Dust in Ice Storm, AU$35) to illuminate the face and give a dewy finish to the skin.
Eyes were swept from lash to brow in a neutral shimmer shadow (Colour Disc in Ultra Suede, AU$29), and finished with mascara and individual lashes at the outer corners.
Lips kept MLBB, filled with a nude satin/matte lipstick (DeVine Goddess lipstick in Demeter, AU$35).

Key hair design notes: Clive Allwright for KMS California created a street-elegant look, featuring a simple centre part into a soft and fluffy crown (KMS California Hairplay Makeover Spray, AU$28.95), with a wet look bun at the nape of the neck. Effortless but not messy, relaxed but not untidy.

Key nail design notes: mannequin nails were in, with Nail Rock nail wraps (ASOS.com, AU$11.11) in a clean nude cream.
