Kalgoorlie (Bolder) is a black lacquer shot through with fine golden shimmer and a tiny touch of silver sparkle. In most lights it shows up as flat black, but under full sunlight the gold shimmer shows up and gives a little more depth to the colour. It’s a one-coat wonder too, a rarity for black polishes. It’s also a little thick so unless you have a steady hand (I don’t!), a drop or two of OPI Lacquer Thinner may be handy to get the best finish possible.

Oxford St Chique is a plum purple shimmer polish with loads of holographic shimmer. The texture is a little on the lumpy side, so be prepared to layer on a thick top coat to get a smooth result. This was a two coat polish and like Kalgoorlie (Bolder) was a little on the thick side.
