Glitter Gal nail polish in Furnace Glow

Gotta hand it to Glitter Gal – they’re the absolute best at coming up with nail polishes that defy simple description. Furnace Glow is from Glitter Gal’s ‘Shade Shifter’ collection, a set of metallic lacquers with subtle, non-holographic colour transitions. It’s one of the ‘soft’ colours, meaning a very fine metallic finish without any obvious chunky sparkle or shimmer.
Furnace Glow is a molten copper with string pink and gold transitions. From some angles it’s a true golden orange, and from other angles it’s a plush coppery pink. Very pretty and right up my alley in regards to copper-toned anything!

Application was a breeze – two thin coats gave full coverage without any bald spots. Application was flawless for such a fine metallic polish. I was expecting brush lines but it flowed smoothly and didn’t leave any streaks. Adding a top coat didn’t dull the colour transitions or make the metallic polish appear ‘flat’, which is both a.) super and b.) rare. Très bien!

Glitter Gal Shade Shifters are AU$17.95 for 15ml, available from Glitter Gal. Happy lacquering!
