Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Hula is a limited edition shade of peachy keen fun. Loaded up with natural oils (avocado, jojoba and evening primrose, three super sources of vitamin E) and extract of Kakadu plum, one of the richest sources of vitamin C in nature, it gives a nice creamy finish without feeling waxy and thick. A dollop of SPF15 sunscreen rounds out the party, giving sun protection without being sunscreen-y in taste and scent.
The colour is a pretty peach creme, not too orange and not too pastel. The formula isn’t too bad when it comes to applying to naked lips, but the creamy formula means the wear time isn’t too earth shaking. I’ve been wearing this over MUFE Aqua Liner in 18C Coral, a lipliner that’s a perfect match for Hula, and that power duo makes for a five+ hour lipstick combo. If you’re in a pinch, blot with a tissue or even dust a little translucent powder over your lips to make this lipstick last longer.
As I mentioned before, this peachy princess is a limited edition lipstick. It’s available only until June, so get your skates on and pick up a tube!
Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in Hula is AU$12.95 for 4g, available from Priceline, Big W, Kmart, Target and selected pharmacies across Australia. Happy lipsticking!
