Face of Australia Lip Quench lipstick – Silver Rose
Face of Australia Lip Quench SPF30+ lipstick in Silver Rose is neither silvery nor rosy, but a wearable pinky terracotta lipstick. Application is a snap thanks to the somewhat creamy texture, and the medium opacity means the colour compliments my natural lip tones rather than overpower them.

If you’re used to vanilla- and candy-scent lipsticks, take note that this has what I’ll gently call a ‘retro’ lipstick scent. A little waxy smelling, but not offensively overpowering by any means. The addition of SPF30+ is a nice touch, particularly as we move into winter and sun protection tends to be forgotten during the chilly months (or is that just me?), but it doesn’t sport a sunscreen-y scent or taste. Winner!
