Grey nail polish may be my one true love, but blue will always have a special place in my heart. My first nail polish was a navy mica shimmer, and ever since that heady year of, err, 2001, I’ve always had a few blue polishes stashed in my collection. Which brings me to this heady year of 2012 and here I am with another blue polish on my claws.
Australis – Flip Flops
Flip Flops by Australis is a limited edition nail polish in a lush deep lagoon blue with sparse glitter chunks. Application was good as ever, with two thin coats giving full colour and a handy amount of glitter. The glitter is a little chunkier than usual, so it leaves a slightly textured surface on the nail. It’s not too noticeable though, so pop on some top coat to get the best finish.
