Face of Australia – Divine Shine lip plumper in Lavish Instinct

Hey you! Yeah you! Are you sick and tired of lip plumpers that turn your mouth into a flaming hot slash of burning lava? Are you sick of lip products that taste, smell and are probably made out of the kind of cheap candy you ate when you were six and didn’t know better? Do you like cinnamon? Do you like ginger?

If you answered yes, yes, yes and yes, then come on over. I have something neat to show you.

Face of Australia’s Divine ShineLip Plumper in Lavish Instinct is a warm tan gloss loaded up with boatloads of fine, sheer shimmer. Rather than use a heavy capsaicin-based agent to irritate your lips and cause a plumping reaction, this product uses a much gentler cocktail of ginger, cinnamon and menthol to warm and encourage a natural fullness to the lips.

The colour of Lavish Instinct is a sheer, wearable caramel, dosed up with just enough shimmer to give it some lustre and depth, but not so much that it’s a frosty discoball. Shimmer and shine, yes, but wearable shimmer and shine.

My lips are naturally quite rosy, so Lavish Instinct served to add a light warm wash of colour rather than tint my lips noticeably caramel. It’s super wearable and perfect as a lazy day lipcolour – I don’t bother with lipliner or lipstick, just keep it nice’n'simple with a slick of this gloss to leave me looking put together but not overdone.

Face of Australia Divine Shine Lip Plumpers retail for AU$10.45 for 9.4g and are available from Priceline, KMart, Big W, selected pharmacies and from FashionAddict.com.au. Shine on!

  4. Oh that’s super pretty. I was worried from the swatch that it would turn your lips brown but it looks really lovely on.
