Pret-a-Polish – Grey

Pret-a-Polish - grey

Pret-a-Polish - grey

Behold a mystery polish! I have no idea what the colour is called, Pret-a-Polish itself is a total mystery with zero internet presence, and the only contact number I have for the brand apparently is for a p√Ętisserie. So… who knows. For want of a better name, let’s just call this polish Grey.

Grey is a gorgeous grey cream the colour of an overcast sky. It required three coats to get a perfect finish but, given that the lacquer itself is rather thin, it doesn’t feel thick or gloopy.
The colour itself is totally unique in my collection. It’s much lighter than China Glaze’s Recycle, Bloom’s Toni is infinitely more creamy, and most of my other pale greys are shimmery, pearly or metallic.

I’d love to give you a link to an etailer or a reference to the brand website, but…? If anyone from Pret-a-Polish ever vanity googles their brand and finds this site, please let me know where to find you!

your cuticles look so neat! do you use cuticle oil or anything to keep them hydrated? I find that mine go up a tad and when I push them they just don’t look as neat! Great post and AWESOME nail polish color! I am a huge fan of taupes and grays!

Thank you! I use CND Cuticle Eraser every couple of weeks with an orange stick, but apart from that I just pop on a bit of CND Solar Oil about fifteen minutes before I take a nail shot. I’m a bit lazy when it comes to my hands to be perfectly honest!

I really hope they do end up coming across this post. The company exists enough to have their polishes given away with Grazia a couple of times, but I can’t find any info about them and they’re not on Beauty Directory. Gah!

I’m starting to really dig more industrial pastels – greiges, khaki creams, etc etc etc. They’re getting a bit easier to find but it’s still an ocean of baby pink out there!
