Lipstick Queen Medieval Lip Treatment swatch & review

Lipstick Queen Medieval Lip Treatment

Lipstick Queen Medieval Lip Treatment

Lipstick Queen Medieval Lip Treatment is the lovechild of a hydrating lipbalm and a glaze lipstick; a delicate glaze of colour paired up with a lush shot of smoothing vitamin e to give your lips a just-been-kissed flush. The texture is as smooth as a gel but without the slip and slide, but it also doesn’t have the resistance of a traditional lipstick when applied straight from the tube.

Given that I’m a fairbear with somewhat natrually rosy lips, Medieval gives my lips quite a vivid flush of colour. The effect may be just-been-kissed on warmer and/or richer skintones, but on me the effect is a little more triple X than the innocent blush of a chaste peck or two. If I paired Medieval with tousled hair, artfully smudged black liner and a pinch of colour on my cheeks, I could probably out-Bardot Bardot circa And God Created Women (if you squint and mentally shave thirty kilos away and, y’know, imagine me as a blonde…).

Lipstick Queen Medieval lip treatment retails for AU$33.95 and is available in Australia from Kit Cosmetics stores and kitcosmetics.com.au. Pucker up!

I literally just bought this the other day! I’ve been a huge MAC fangirl for years, but I’ve recently discovered Lipstick Queen and I’m loving it. I’m super pale and afraid of red lipstick, but I can wear this confidently, even though it shows up surprisingly dark on me as well.
