Mario Badescu – Enzyme Cleansing Gel
Gonna keep this one short and sweet. I’ve been using Enzyme Cleansing Gel from Mario Badescu since December 2006. Excluding special use cleansers (i.e. acne washes, oil cleansers to get rid of a full face of make-up, etc etc etc) this has been my old faithful, ever reliable, never-gonna-let-you-down face wash for this entire time.
A non-foaming, super gentle AHA cleanser that efficiently cleanses my skin, leaves it super soft and baby smooth thanks to its gentle exfoliating properties, and doesn’t leave my skin in any way dry or tight afterwards. Obviously I still have to moisturise, but it’s not one of those cleansers that leaves me staggering out of the shower and lunging for the tub of moisturiser before my face cracks and falls off.
The scent isn’t anything to write home about and if you’ve never used non-foaming cleansers before you’ll probably be convinced that it’s not cleansing your skin at all, but hey. Get a sample, give it a try and keep an open mind.

This is the most AMAZING cleanser ever. I have been using it for over 7 years and it is a miracle product :) And btw, it’s cheaper now. Around $19 from Kit

Yeah, it’s really wonderful. I try other things but I keep going back to this gel over and over again.
The price in the post is from when it was written two years ago; the new lower price is reflected in more recent posts :)
