Laura Mercier – VIP Gold, VIP Silver
I thought I’d quickly post this up before I nip off to work. I’ve mentioned a couple of times on twitter that Laura Mercier currently have what I think is the most insane, brilliant silver eyeshadow I’ve ever seen, and a few people bugged me for a swatch.
VIP Gold doesn’t thrill me – it has a faintly greenish undertone to it, not entirely dissimilar to MAC’s Gorgeous Gold – but VIP Silver has stolen my heart. This picture doesn’t do it any justice. Imagine the brightest, cleanest, most metallic silver eyeshadow you’ve ever dreamt of, then make it hyper-pigmented and so smoothly milled that it feels almost creamy to the touch.
The only thing that’s stopping me from throwing my wallet at the Laura Mercier girls and clutching VIP Silver to my chest is the fairly ridiculous price. AU$41 for an eyeshadow? I don’t think so, love.

This silver is amazing! I wanted to get MAC’s Electra but now I want this! I can’t seem to find it on the LM website though, is it LE?
