Swatch – I-Tech Liquid Liners
Here are the six colours from the JK Jemma Kidd diffusion line for Target US. They’re a waterproof liquid liner with a flexible brush applicator, and the formula is like a plasticised paint that dries very waterproof and needs a bit of oil to fully remove. I could probably shortcut this entire write-up by saying if you’ve ever used MAC’s LiquidLast liners, they’re exactly the same thing. Seriously. Even the packaging is identical, not to mention the colours (Covert is Aqualine, Contrast is Greenplay, Drama is Electrolady, Sculpt is Point Black).
The only real points of difference are range (MAC has eleven colours to the six from JK Jemma Kidd) and price, provided you’re not fussy about the brand stamped on the screw-cap lid. Even the price difference is totally negligible, given that JK Jemma Kidd I-Tech Liners retail for US$16 at Target in the US, MAC LiquidLast Liners for US$16.50. In Australia the JK liners are AU$34.95 at Kit Cosmetics, AU$35 for LiquidLasts at MAC.
My main recommendation from these is Abstract – it dries to a rich, subtly metallic gunmetal grey that gives a nice little non-blingy twinkle along the lashline.
